The CatShield Catalytic Converter Anti-Theft Device has been specifically designed for the Mercedes Sprinter Euro-5 van.

The CatShield is the most effective, low cost anti-theft device on the market to protect your Mercedes Sprinter Euro-5 catalytic converter from theft. The device is incredibly easy to install and provides ultra-high protection. It can be used on its own or with an ArmaCat as a “Belt & Brace” approach to total cat security.

The CatShield works by shielding the cat from would be thieves. It is constructed from 2mm high grade stainless steel, so there is no danger of it corroding and weakening in time. It is manufactured to ISO9001 and is supplied with a lifetime guarantee.

PLEASE NOTE: This device has been tailored specifically for the Mercedes Sprinter Euro-5. It can be used in conjunction with the ArmaCat AP700 to boost security even further.

The CatShield uses high-security fittings but requires no special tools and can be installed within a few minutes by any individual with limited mechanical knowledge.

New for 2012 is our USR (Unique Security code Registration) system which is applied to your catalytic converter and allows the police to reference our database to determine the ownership of a stolen catalytic converter. Identification systems such as the USR will not, of course, entirely prevent a catalytic converter from being stolen, however, it is yet another layer of security which makes your vehicle less likely to be targetted by thieves. Market research would suggest that a scrapyard is far less likely to purchase a stolen cat if it has a recognised security identification mark.
